Reach Out

Song for the beating hearts…

Title: Reach Out

I like to take you on a journey to a similar place in time
Where hearts are sometimes broken and the reasons are hard to find
Have you ever lost a loved one well before their healthy prime
Oh I wonder why we suffer, feeling worse then any crime

But I sing these words tonight for the ones who are alone
For they can’t admit their problems, only God really knows
They suffer in their silence and the pain surely grows
So lets give them a song and offer them this hope

Reach out and tell somebody you could use a little help
Simply say a little something and your agony might melt
Just speak up and share them secrets of your authentic self
Oh reach out and trust that people really care when you tell

Nothings worse then holding on to a thought that truly hurts
Nothings worse then living with shame oh we know that never works
Understanding were not alone on this journey we call life
Understand that love will enter when we share what’s on our mind

So reach out and tell somebody you could use a little help
Simply say a little something and your agony might melt
Just speak up and share them secrets of your authentic self
Oh reach out and trust that people really care when you tell

Now I know what it means to try to make it all alone
I used to think that sorrow was the only true way to our soul
But with time and a little faith, in yes the human race
I realized that I am fine despite my yesterdays

So reach out and tell somebody you could use a little help
Simply say a little something and your agony might melt
Just speak up and share them secrets of your authentic self
Oh reach out and trust that people really care when you tell
